These reusable totes are made from woven polypropylene bags that originally held 40 lbs of sunflower seeds. The inside of the bag was wiped out to remove the dust and crumbs from the seeds. The seeds in these bags were dry so the bags only needed a quick wipe to be presentable. The polypropylene is water resistant, but the bags are not waterproof. The handles are made from strips of the same polypropylene material cut from the bag. Handles are a triple thickness of polypropylene and stitched on to the bag with an X configuration for strength.
